Revising
Revising shouldn't be over looked when it comes to writing papers. Now a days people may think spell check can take care of there mistakes but it is often best when other peers review as well. Spell check might not always give you the best sentence structure and other mistakes are not uncommon. Revising is the final step in writing a paper and is just as important as the first. Don't make assumptions that may be a norm to you and baffling to others. Make sure every paragraph is coherent and you have a strong thesis and conclusion. Your spacing and font size are important so your paper looks the best. Most people recommend 12 point font and double spaced. This will also vary on the specific subject and teachers preference. Always keep your audience honest, what I mean by this is don't make your paper to predictable. When revising I think it is important to read over the paper twice to make any necessary revisions as possible. I have never been a person to read aloud but if you feel it works feel free. I think revising is a very important process in writing a paper and think the paper should be easy to read with a certain rhythm rather then a clumsy construction which keeps the audience guessing.
